The Ohio Masonic Home and Western Reserve Masonic Community Promote Within for COO and President
The Ohio Masonic Home has promoted Jay Dettorre, former president of Western Reserve Masonic Community (WRMC), to be its new Chief Operating Officer effective April 30, 2012.
A graduate of The Ohio State University, Mr. Dettorre has more than twenty years of experience in the long-term care industry. Prior to serving as the President of WRMC, he was the administrator of Rockynol Retirement Community in Akron, Ohio.
As the Chief Operating Officer, he will have the general responsibility for the effective operation of The Ohio Masonic Home and its subsidiaries. He will implement and assure compliance with the established objectives, policies, and philosophies as directed by the CEO.

Sarah Koch has been promoted to the position of President of WRMC, also effective April 30, 2012. She moves into this new role having been the Vice President of the campus for the past seven years. As President, she will have the general responsibility for the day to day operation and fiscal stewardship of the campus.
A graduate of Ohio University, Ms. Koch earned her bachelor’s degree though the College of Health and Human Services, majoring in Long-term Health Care Administration, also acquiring a certificate in Gerontology and her Nursing Home Administrator’s license. Prior to serving as the Vice President of WRMC, she was employed by Generation HealthCare Management for nine years, ending in an Assistant Administrator position.
