Western Reserve Masonic Community celebrated National Nursing Home Week with several activities recently including musical entertainment, a butterfly release, a comedy/juggling act and a resident/staff variety show.
One of the week's highlights was a visit from a very unique therapy pet - Petie the Pony, a cross between a minature horse and Shetland pony. Petie was a hit with residents and the media, and his story was covered by the print and electronic media. The Medina Gazette covered the story here and Fox 8 television had one here.
